Subject: The X-Files Finale Viewing Party
Description:
Register today for An Evening of “The X-Files” on Monday, February 22,
2016 in the Bioscience Research Building.
Join the College of Computer, Mathematical, and Natural Sciences for a live
TV viewing of The X-Files Miniseries Finale (Episode 6) hosted by Anne Simon,
University of Maryland Professor of Cell Biology and Molecular Genetics, who
is the show's science advisor and shares story credit for
Episode 6.
Dr. Simon served as science advisor during the show’s original run in the
1990s and 2000s and authored a book about her experience titled “The Real
Science Behind the X-Files.” She returned to her role as advisor for the
new miniseries and shares story credit for the finale of the six-episode
miniseries.
