The University of Maryland Department of Entomology is seeking some motivated
and skilled undergraduates with an interest in Biological Control, Organic
agriculture, Pollinator Health and Agro-ecology to join the ecological pest
management and applied ecology group for a summer paid internship position.
Research prospects will include using cover crops to manipulate insect and
weed establishment
​as well as greenhouse gas emissions in vegetable research plots. Strong
commitment to field work and a desire to be outdoors are essential as the job
will entail outside manual activities during the summer months. The ideal
candidate will have some interest in field research and a valid driver
