in PGCPS.
WE CAN USE YOUR EXPERTISE AS A CATEGORY JUDGE ON MARCH 19.

Greetings Prospective Category Judge,
We are in need of your expertise to assist with “Category” judging at the
68th Prince George's Area
Science Fair (PGASF). The judging will occur Saturday, March 19, 2016 at
Charles Herbert Flowers
High School located at 10001 Ardwick-Ardmore Road, Springdale, Maryland
20774.
The 68th Prince George’s Area Science Fair includes students from Calvert,
Prince George's, and St.
Mary’s Counties. This year’s theme is "Changing The World Through
Education and Innovations In
Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics”. The student exhibitors
are winners in various
categories from school-based STEM fairs hosted by their charter, public and
private schools for grades
6-12.
The “Category Judges Briefing” will take place on Saturday, March 19,
2016, beginning at 8:00 a.m.
Judges will be assigned to either the Junior Division or Senior Division
based on need and the
number of projects entered into the fair. Awards will be presented during the
awards ceremony
scheduled for Saturday, March 19, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. in the school’s
auditorium.

To ensure that students have been seen by a fair number of judges, we ask

Category Judge’s
Room. Continental Breakfast will be available.
Judging: “Category Judges Briefing” session begins 8:00 a.m., Saturday,
March 19, 2016.
The room location of the briefing is to be determined and an update will be
sent
to confirmed judges. Judging will occur from 8:30 a.m. and conclude by 12:00
p.m.
Grand Award Judging will occur from 1:15 p.m. and conclude by 3:00 p.m.
