Lab Assistant
Job description: 10% of the time will be allocated to lab management tasks
(ordering, equipment maintenance etc.). 90% of time will be dedicated towards
research in the field of cancer therapeutic development. The work will
involve the manipulation of eukaryotic cell lines, immunofluorescence
microscopy, flow cytometry and other cell based assays (ELISA, apoptosis
assays, necrosis assays). The work will be performed in the lab of Dr. V.
Briken in the Department of Cell Biology and Molecular Genetics.
Requirements: Candidate should be highly motivated, have strong communication
skills and at least one year of undergraduate research experience.
The starting date is June 1st 2017 for an initial 6 months period that can be
extended for at least another 6 months. The proposed annual salary is
