ASRC Federal InuTeq’s focus is on technical and complex, mission-oriented
services with contracts supporting federal government agencies. Our team of
scientists and professional management personnel allows us to bring
real-world experience to meet the growing demand for solutions to some of the
most complex problems in IT management, aviation, and Earth and space
sciences. We are seeking an Interactive Web Designer (summer hire) to in
Greenbelt, MD.

Summary: This is a temporary summer position supporting a NASA contract.

Responsibilities:
•	Translate and develop interactive graphics into a mobile website,
ensuring strong optimization and functionality.
•	Responsible for all aspects of the application lifecycle including
designing, coding, testing, debugging, documenting, implementing and
supporting custom developed applications.
•	Proactively seek ways to automate and streamline processes.
•	Perform problem solving and debugging techniques to help resolve problems
in all applications.
•	Support Senior Developers to accomplish project based tasks, with
moderate direction from Senior Developer(s).
•	Reports progress and provides technical assistance to the
application/project lead.
•	Properly document code, process, and end user functions.
Requirements:
•	Knowledge of HTML5, JavaScript and CSS.
•	Experience working with content management systems such as Drupal or
WordPress.
•	Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
•	Independent project management with the ability to manage time, attention
to detail and meet strict deadlines.
•	Passion to solve problems in a customer-centric environment.
•	Desire to learn and explore other languages is a plus.
•	Individual must meet government NAC and citizenship/permanent residency
requirements for access to NASA GSFC. Extensive background investigation will
be performed as a requirement of the job.
Education/Experience:
•	Must be a college sophomore, junior or senior in one of the following
fields: Computer Science, or related major.
•	Preference will be given to students with professional experience in
their field of study.
