Subject: Opening for Chemistry/Biology Teacher

Description:
You will collaborate with supportive colleagues at Bishop McNamara High
School, to plan engaging instruction rooted in experimental design,
problem-solving, and hands-on learning. By teaching four sections of Honors
Chemistry and
one section of Biology or A.P. Biology, you will help students connect with
their passion for scientific exploration, within a technology-rich learning
environment. Just as you are committed to the growth of your students, the
school will support your learning through a mentoring program, instructional
coaching, and funding for professional development.

Qualifications:
-Degree (B.A., B.S., M.A., M.S., M.Ed., Ed.D., Ph.D.) in physical or life
sciences, or secondary
education with a focus in science education
-Strong organizational and communication skills
-Commitment to development of the whole student, in alignment with the
Catholic Holy Cross
tradition of education
