Subject: EPA Microbial Risk Analyst

Description:
The EPA Environmental Research and Business Support Program is searching for
an EPA Microbial Risk Analyst with the Office of Research and Development at
the EPA facility in Cincinnati, OH. The Analyst will assist the
Microbiological and Chemical Exposure Assessment Research Division team with
providing technical laboratory support for a research project focusing on the
microbial risks associated with on-site graywater and combined wastewater
reuse systems. The job is expected to begin October 2016.

·         Full time, $20.80/hour
·         Must have earned at least a Bachelor’s degree in environmental
science, biology, microbiology, or a related field
·         Must have experience in leadership, team work, and communication
·         It is desirable to have experience in Microsoft Office, general
laboratory techniques for assessing water quality, water resuse systems,
microbiological research, and molecular biology research
·         Will perform tasks such as preparing a Quality Assurance Project
Plan, processing samples, preparing microbiological media and supplements,
and preparing sequencing libraries
