Subject: Aquatic Ecosystem Specialist at EPA in Rhode Island

Description:
The EPA Environmental Research and Business Support Program is searching for
a part-time (30 hours per week) Aquatic Ecosystem Specialist with the Office
of Research and Development at the EPA facility in Narragansett, Rhode
Island.

A new threat to ecosystems may be nanomaterials and contaminants of emerging
concern (CEC). The selected candidate will be involved in all aspects of
research including designing and performing the studies as well as analysis
of data, reports and presentations.

·        Part time, $21.90/hour
·        Must have earned a B.S. or B.A. in biology, chemistry,
environmental science, toxicology, oceanography or related field
·        Must have basic familiarity with small boats
·        Must have familiarity with basic safety procedures in a lab
·        Must have coursework in chemistry and biology
