SEO Career is a professional development and internship program targeting
talented Black, Hispanic, and Native American undergrads for internships in
business, finance, and technology. SEO Career provides the Education,
Development, Growth and Experience needed to gain a competitive advantage and
launch your career.

Participants receive free career prep resources, training, and coaching to
land a paid summer internship and, ultimately, to secure a full-time job
offer in business, finance, or technology. Summer internships pay up to
$1,300 per week. In 2015, 85% of SEO Career interns were offered full-time
jobs at the end of their internships–either at their host company or
another SEO Career partner.

Current Opportunities Include:
Junior/Rising Senior
·        KKR Credit  - New York - alternative/private credit space (not an
entry-point for a private equity role)

This internship could lead to a full-time analyst role in credit.  KKR Credit
is interested in quantitatively strong, intellectually curious candidates who
can handle a highly analytical environment. While modeling skills may be
helpful, they are not required.


Sophomores/Rising Juniors
·        Lagoda Investment Management - New York, NY - small investment
management firm

Ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate a clear and compelling interest
in the markets and a desire to learn as much as possible about the industry.

·        New York City Comptroller – Bureau of Asset Management - New
York, NY  - oversees the investment portfolios of the New York City
Retirement Systems (Systems) Candidates should be local NYC students or
residents with an interest in the inner-workings of city pensions. Interns
will participate in hands-on departmental projects in their assigned bureau
as well as an overall enrichment program that includes networking
opportunities, professional development programming and community service
activities.


·        Acadian Asset Management - Boston, MA - Boston-headquartered
investment management firm with wholly owned affiliates located in Singapore
and London

Open to Freshmen and Sophomores - Interns would work in Investment Research,
Performance & Attribution, and Software Engineering (requires math/software
skills). Candidates must have strong quantitative skills. (3.3 minimum GPA)

·        Ares Management – Los Angeles, New York

Los Angeles - Investment Rotational Internship – Tradable Credit, Direct
Lending & Relationship Management
New York  - Investment Rotational Internship – Real Estate & Direct Lending
