Subject: Interdisciplinary Health Approaches Panel (AMSA/CRD/Pre-Med Society)

Description:
Have a desire to impact healthcare? Becoming a physician is just one way to
do so. The way healthcare is delivered is a vast puzzle that consists of
multiple players, each of which contributes a unique perspective on health.
Join AMSA, Charles R. Drew, and the Pre-Med Society for a panel on
Interdisciplinary Approaches to Health and Healthcare Delivery. Panelists
will include physicians and professors from SPH and BSOS, all of whom will
share their work and past experiences related to the healthcare field.
Panelists will also introduce ways to become involved in these disciplines by
exploring each of the different pathways to health related professions, from
research opportunities to health policy and advocacy initiatives. No matter
what your interests related to health, come learn what health means to
experts in the field and be ready to explore where you might fit into the
puzzle!

Panelists:
Dr. Alex Parkhouse, PhD. Medical Sociologist
Dr. Dylan Roby, PhD. Health Policy Researcher
Dr. Andrea Lopez, PhD. Medical Anthropologist
Dr. Neil Sehgal, PhD. Health Delivery System Scientist
