Join us for a special screening of the film "Between Earth and Sky: Climate
Change on the Last Frontier" followed by a discussion with the film’s
executive producer.

This groundbreaking film is the first of its kind to explore global climate
change through the lens of soil science. This research-based film tells the
story of global climate change by shining a light on arctic soils and
ecosystems and the livelihood of Alaskan-Americans.

Following the film will be a discussion with the film’s executive producer,
David Weindorf. Dr. Weindorf is the associate dean for research and the BL
Allen Endowed Chair of Pedology in the Department of Plant and Soil Science
in the College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources at Texas Tech
University.
