Subject: Seminar: Insights into the Hiring Process with UMD Alumna, Feb. 16
Description:
Lauren Ciandella, a University of Maryland alumna and experienced recruiter
based in NYC, will be providing insight into the hiring process with a focus
on resume writing, interviewing, and post-interview follow up. This seminar
will help students feel more prepared and confident in their job search.
Students will learn: - How to properly format their resumes and what content
is most important to include - What to say and not to say on interviews,
including how to respond to challenging questions - How to conduct themselves
in the most professional and amenable manner. Light snacks and beverages will
be served.
