Subject: ASM Faculty Talk - Dr. Helen Dooley

Description: Join American Society for Microbiology (ASM) for our second
faculty talk of the semester on 3/29/17 from 7-9 pm in BRB1103! Dr. Helen
Dooley is an Assistant Professor of Microbiology and Immunology for the
University of Maryland School of Medicine. Her first aim is studying the
immune systems of various marine animals to find shared functions of specific
molecules. The second aim involves researching the properties of IgNAR, an
antibody only found in cartilagenous fish that may have utility in diagnosing
