Subject: Support Team MELTS' Launch UMD Campaign

Description: Team MELTS is a 4-year undergraduate research project sponsored
by UMD's Gemstone Honors Program. Road salts, though beneficial for melting
ice and clearing roadways, can have a variety of negative impacts on the
environment, infrastructure, and water supply. Our team is researching
agro-based/chloride-free products in order to develop a more environmentally
friendly anti-icer. Over the course of our LaunchUMD campaign which ends May
11th, we hope to raise $4500 for our project. This money will help us
purchase supplies and materials to complete our testing, as well as cover any
travel expenses. Our research would not be possible without this money, so we
