Description:
Two doctor eye surgery practice in Rockville, Maryland seeks an energetic,
versatile and personable individual to perform a wide range of medical and
administrative activities. This is a great opportunity for a recent college
graduate with no experience as well as an experienced tech! Our work
environment encourages learning and personal development. Many of our former
assistants have gone on to graduate school to become physicians, physician
assistants, nurses and optometrists.

Clinical duties include using high-tech computerized instruments to measure
intraocular pressure, keratometry, lensometry, visual fields, laser biometry,
retinal photography, ocular tomography, autorefraction and corneal
topography.

Other duties include screening patients for exams, measuring vision, history
taking, and setting up instruments for surgical procedures.

Administrative activities include reception, and scheduling. We are seeking
those interested in healthcare who like to work directly with people. We
provide you with materials for home study to rapidly learn the above
procedures.

Salary starting $15 - $25 per hour depending on the skills and experience.
Salary will be increased according to work ethic and accomplishments. We are
located in fun, active area of central Rockville with many shops, restaurants
and free parking. Benefits include health insurance, paid vacation, paid
