Subject: ACS GBM #6: Lecture by Dr. Kenner Rice of the NIH

Description:
This Wednesday at 6pm in Chem1402, Dr. Kenner Rice of the National Institutes
of Health will be speaking to the ACS student chapter about his work in
Medicinal Chemistry for Drug Abuse Research. Dr. Rice is a Senior
Investigator at the NIH whose lines of research have included the development
of synthetic routes to opiate production as a tool for medical
research. In his talk, he will review this and other discoveries owing to the
drug abuse research program at the NIH. Hope to see you there!
