Description:
ARCHES (Academy for Research, Clinical, and Health Equity Scholarship) at the
Georgetown Medical school is a six-week program for undergraduate students
interested in pursuing medical school.
Students from backgrounds underrepresented in the health professions and
those who identify as first-generation college students are particularly
encouraged to apply.
This program will engage selected participants in clinical experience, guided
research, and immersive service at Georgetown University.
Dates: Wednesday, June 27 - Friday, August 11, 2018
Stipend: $4,000
Housing provided: On-campus housing at Georgetown University in
double-occupancy rooms
Travel: Awarded up to $250 per student on a case by case basis
