Subject: Emergency Medical Scribe Opportunity

Description:
My name is Dahlia Kronfli and I am one of the Chief Scribes for ScribeAmerica
at Frederick Memorial Hospital. I am happy to announce that we are seeking
potential applicants, both part-time and full time for a few openings at our
location. We are looking to grow our team of over 20 scribes.

This PAID position is one of a kind job that gives you the opportunity to
work alongside emergency department physicians, physician assistants,
and nurse practitioners. During each shift you will be working one-on-one
with a provider to accompany patient visits and complete charting.

By gaining medical terminology, an understanding of patient workflow, and
observing bedside manner, this is invaluable experience for those looking to
enter the health professions field. Many of our scribes matriculate to
medical
school, PA school, nursing school, and nurse practitioner school every year.

Our providers are also happy to write proficient scribes recommendation
letters!
The providers love us so much and are invested in our careers that they throw
us
an annual scribe appreciation dinner, which sets us apart from other
ScribeAmerica
sites. We are also a unique site in that we hire exclusively overnight
scribes,
limiting the amount of overnight shifts day scribes work to around 1
shift/month.

This is a competitive position that requires extensive training in emergency
medicine. As this is an investment in each applicant, the screening process
is
selective. **Applicants who express interest in exclusively working overnight
shifts
will be prioritized in the application process. Please note that all
applicants should
have a typing speed above 60 words per minute; the faster, the better.

We will be holding an information session with interviews on November 18th at
11:00 AM at Frederick Memorial. Therefore email us ASAP if you are
interested,
as spots will get filled immediately.

Once you reach out, I will provide you with instructions on how to send your
application. Selected applicants will be contacted for an interview.

I look forward to reviewing your applications!
