Subject: Computer Science Petition: Administrative Actions

To all Computer Science Students:
My name is Radhika Gholap, and I am the CMNS Representative in the Student
Government Association. I would like to reach out to everyone involved in the
CS-petition about recent efforts of the administration to address the
shortage of seats in upper-level Computer Science Classes.
As explained by the Interim Dean, Dr. Gerald Wilkinson, and Associate Dean,
Dr. Robert Infantino, the administration has added 800 new seats within 2
weeks, hired new faculty, and worked with faculty to open more sections of
certain classes. They are also emailing waitlisted students when new seats
are created, so be sure to check your email and Testudo for new openings.
