Community Advocacy Area is excited to present the Asian American Educational
Workshop Series! Many of our academic and educational experiences are
influenced by our cultural backgrounds and intersecting identities. Join us
to discuss the pressures and expectations that Asian American college
students may experience. Come explore the resources and programs that are
available to support your learning opportunities and educational journey at
UMD and beyond.

especially for those who identify as first-generation college students. Join
us to explore application advice and tips, and funding opportunities. Whether
you are interested in pursuing research, teaching/education, or professional
school, come through to hear about programs and tools that can support and
guide you to obtaining a Master's or Ph.D.!
