Subject: Career Shuttle: Bell Nursery

Join the University Career Center & The President's Promise and the College
of Agriculture and Natural Resources on a Career Shuttle to Bell Nursery.
This trip is open to all UMD students and all majors, but will be of
particular interest to freshmen, sophomores, juniors, seniors and graduate
students interested in exploring career paths that within greenhouse and
nursery production, sales, and marketing. Bell Nursery has a variety of jobs
and opportunities for students in majors such as:
Biology
Chemistry
Agricultural Science & Technology –Agronomy and Environmental Horticulture
Environmental Science and Technology
Landscape Architecture
Plant Sciences
Agricultural Resource Economics
Institute of Applied Agriculture
Supply Chain Management
Marketing and Management
Mechanical Engineering
Information Technology
The site visit will provide an overview of Bell Nursery’s work and
operational units, a tour of the warehouse and greenhouse, and information on
entry-level positions and the hiring process. Students will also have the
opportunity to speak with current employees and understand how they
contribute to the overall production at Bell Nursery.
Business casual attire is encouraged.
Space is limited - please RSVP today and reserve April 20th from 12:30 pm to
4:30 pm for the site visit. Due to limited space we will be enforcing our "no

Once you have RSVP'd and received a confirmation email, please plan to meet
in the University Career Center & The President's Promise (3100 Hornbake
Library, South Wing) at 12:30 pm. We will depart promptly by bus at 12:50 pm
and return to campus by 4:30pm.
