Subject: Big Data in Public Health Conference, Feb. 28

Description:
The First UMD-SPH Conference on Big Data in Public Health will take place on
02/28/2020 from 8AM to 5PM, at the Lecture Hall 1312 of University of
Maryland School of Public Health Building (Direction).

In this year's conference, we invite 10 outstanding speakers from different
application areas of big data analytics including social media, genomics and
bioinformatics, health care, imaging and neuroscience, to talk about their
cutting edge research using big data and its connection with public health
data science. The conference will emphasize how big data methodology and
analytic tools can be applied to solve real world public health problems and
transform population health and medicine.

The Big Data Conference is organized and supported by the UMD School of
Public Health’s Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics. Additional
support comes from Biostatistics and Risk Assessment Center (BRAC).
