Subject: 2019 CAFPA Student Travel Scholarship

Description:
The Capital Area Food Protection Association (CAFPA) is pleased to announce
its first student travel scholarship to attend the 2019 Annual Meeting of the
International Association of Food Protection (IAFP) at Louisville, Kentucky.
The $750.00 scholarship is intended to supplement a student’s existing
travel funds to attend the annual meeting.

The scholarship is aimed at recognizing students from the Delaware, Maryland,
Virginia, and Washington D.C. areas who are future leaders in the field of
food safety. Applicants must be undergraduate or graduate students currently
enrolled full-time in a college or university food safety-related program.
The scholarship will be awarded to one student from the above specified
regions, as determined by CAFPA’s selection committee. Notification of the
committee’s decision will be communicated to all applicants by April 15,
2019, and the scholarship recipient will be recognized at the annual meeting.
