Description:
The UMD SGA, the School of Public Health, and the University Health Center
are hosting an Opioid Overdose Prevention and Response Workshop for
undergraduates at the University of Maryland.

In 2017, the state of Maryland declared the opioid crisis a state of
emergency. Becoming aware of the signs of an opioid overdose and how to
respond to the situation is critical. At this workshop, students will be
educated on the national opioid crisis, understand local resources available
to them, and participate in an educational naloxone training.
