Subject: Northrop Grumman Acoustic Signal Processing Challenge Info Session

Description: Join us for an info session on the Northrop Grumman Acoustic
Signal Processing Challenge! Learn about audio signal processing concepts
such as speech processing and recognition, underwater acoustics, and acoustic
‘fingerprints’ of animals and people. No prior experience or knowledge is
necessary to enter the challenge! Build an application that can identify
audio files by the source item or animal. Gain valuable insights from
Northrop Grumman engineers, who mentor teams in the challenge. Total prizes
of $5,000 are available to winning teams. The challenge is open to both
undergraduate and graduate student teams.
