Want to get more involved with UAEM at UMD? Apply for the Operations Director
e-board position for the upcoming Spring semester. The Operations Director
will be responsible for helping plan events, develop campaign strategies, and
further build the organization on campus.

Universities Allied for Essential Medicines is an international student
organization with the vision that universities will be part of the solution
in promoting the accessibility and affordability of essential medicines and
health technologies developed at our own university labs. The UAEM Chapter at
UMD was founded this semester, and during this first semester we have held a
variety of events surrounding access to medicine advocacy and helped lead
campaigns and rallies featured in various news media outlets. Join us in the
fight for health justice!
