The University of Maryland Upper Marlboro Research and Education Center is
excited to announce a 2019 summer internship position. Wages start at
$10.50/hr.
The Intern will support the Facility’s Farm Manager and crew in various
aspects of farm operations: maintenance of research plots, commercial fields
and facility grounds; harvesting, washing and packing of produce; and basic
maintenance of tools and equipment. Successful candidates should be
self-motivated, detail oriented, and enjoy working outside. While previous
farming experience or working outside is generally preferred, it is not
