Description:
The purpose of our organization is to: encourage superior academic
achievement, promote intelligent living, and assist students in recognizing
and developing meaningful goals for their roles in society. As a member of
ALD you will have many opportunities to increase your professionalism and
learn skills that can help you achieve your career goals through our academic
events, some of which include our resume building and public speaking
workshops. In addition, you will be able to enhance your resume through our
various leadership opportunities and volunteer events. We also recognize that
as students it's very important that we take time to de-stress, so we host a
variety of social events throughout the semester that you can use as an
opportunity to meet new people.  If you have any questions about anything, we
are going to have some information sessions for you to come and learn about
everything we have to offer as well as some information about our individual
experiences in ALD! If you are interested in attending the information
sessions, please RSVP using the link provided here. We also have a New Member
Scholarship that you can apply for using the following link once you have
accepted membership into ALD: https://go.umd.edu/NewMemberALD (the deadline
is April 9th).

March 28th, 2021 from 5-6PM
April 6th, 2021 from 7-8PM
