Subject: Are you a STEM student? UMD wants to hear from you!

Description:
Join us for PIZZA and an opportunity to shape STEM education at UMD by
participating in a student focus group! Students are invited to chat
informally and anonymously to share their challenges, successes, and how STEM
education has impacted your experience at UMD.

Join us Monday, November 25 from 5-7 PM in 1103 BRB. Pizza will be served. We
are particularly interested in hearing from:
--Current CMNS majors
--Students who were initially pursuing CMNS degrees, but are no longer doing
so
--Students who identify as African American/Black, Latino/a/x, Indigenous,
LGBTQ, having financial need, transfer students, disabled students, and first
generation college students

Our goal is to learn what faculty, staff, and administrators can do to make
the campus more inclusive and supportive for students pursuing science
degrees. Your insights are so important in helping us to make positive
changes for current future UMD students!
