CoolCAD Electronics, LLC is looking to hire a Semiconductor Process
Specialist to join our electronics fabrication team. The Semiconductor
Process Specialist will work with a team of engineers that is responsible for
running and improving our silicon carbide electronic device fabrication line.
The team is currently ramping up our production and performing research at
the forefront of semiconductor devices and integrated circuit fabrication.
The main requirements for the job are laboratory skills and an understanding
of chemistry that are commensurate with a bachelor’s degree in chemistry,
physics or a related field. Enthusiasm for learning new things and
willingness to work hard are also requirements. Previous experience or
coursework in semiconductor processing is a benefit, but not required as
on-the-job training will be provided. The job is located in College Park, MD
near the University of Maryland.
CoolCAD Electronics, LLC is an electronics company that designs and
fabricates state-of-the-art integrated circuits (chips) out of new
semiconductor materials, especially Silicon Carbide. The company spun out of
