Subject: Talks for Summer Researchers - NSF Fellowship and IRB Intro
Description:
This coming week their will be two presentations for summer researchers on
campus:
Introduction to the Institutional Review Board (IRB) process, the gateway to
human subject research. Joseph Smith, Director of Maryland's Human Research
Protection Program will introduce student researchers to the process and
purposes of IRB reviews.
Date and Time: Wednesday, August 1 from 4:05 pm to 5 pm

National Science Foundation - Graduate Research Fellowship Program. Current
undergraduates, recent alumni, and rising first and second year grad students
(US Citizens and Perm. Residents) are eligible to apply for the NSF GRFP.
