Subject: Inyterested in joining the Solar Decathlon Team

Description:
We are pleased to announce that UMD will again be participating in a Solar
Decathlon and will be kicking off our recruitment effort at an open meeting
on Monday, December 9, 2019.

This event is informational, and no commitment is necessary!

Team Maryland will compete in Solar Decathlon Middle East 2020 in Dubai, UAE,
with the entry reACT REGENERATED.

This year’s entry in the competition, unlike the previous design/build
competitions, will be an adaptive reuse and regenerative project. We will be
reassembling SD2017 reACT and “regenerate” it for the Middle Eastern
context and climate.

Please join us on December 9, 2019, from 6 to 7 pm, in the Architecture
Building Auditorium (Ground Floor, opposite the Kibel Gallery), to learn more
and consider becoming part of Team Maryland at SDME2020 in Dubai!
