Technical Assistant (IT Services)

The Adele H. Stamp Student Union, IT Services is seeking students to maintain
various computer, video, event, and web support. Candidate must have
experience in at least two of the following areas computer hardware, web
programming language, database administration, web content management, and/or
video editing/camera recording.  Students gain experience in web design,
technical research, database and web design administration, project
management, videography, and helpdesk service. A candidate should have an
aptitude for technology, a desire to learn new skills, and be willing to
invest in the outcome of our STAMP events and programs.  The candidates
chosen will work with internal and external customers on an ongoing basis so
professional communication is very important in this role.  Ability to use
interpersonal skills to provide excellent customer service and have an
ability to organize, manage deadlines and prioritize tasks.   Individuals
must be able to work independently, as well as in a team environment. The
individuals hired must be available to work in the IT office and virtually
during daytime, evening, and/or weekend building hours.
