Subject: Ensuring a People's Vaccine Panel
Description:
As the rollout of the COVID vaccine is in full swing in the United States, a
majority of the developing world still does not have sustainable access to
the vaccine. Currency the three biggest vaccine corporations in the world are
producing enough vaccine for only 1.5% of the global population. Come hear
from top health experts on how to rectify the issues of vaccine equity to end
the pandemic for all. Panelists include speakers from Public Citizen,
HealthGAP, the University of Maryland Center of Vaccine Development, and our
very own Dean Lushniak from the school of public health. Come for an engaging
conversation with these panelists, organized by College Park Scholars and the
Free the Vaccine Exhibit on March 5th at 5 pm EST.
