Subject: Seminar Event 3/15: The Opioid Public Health Crisis

Description:
Interested in harm reduction? Want to learn more about the history of the
opioid epidemic? Combating Overdoses in Rural Areas (CORA) is having a
speaker event next Tuesday from 6-7 PM on Zoom!

The speaker is Elizabeth Williams, an educator for the Maryland Rural Opioid
Training Assistance program. She will be presenting a talk on “The Opioid
Public Health Crisis”, during which she will be discussing what opioids
are, the impact of the opioid epidemic in the US, and how to respond to an
opioid overdose.
