Description:
Dear Terps,

The UMD TerpsVote Coalition is looking for students to participate in a focus
group to help us understand what motivates college students to vote and the
barriers to voting for college students. We are especially seeking CMNS,
Engineering, Business, and Graduate students to participate, as these groups
typically vote in lower numbers than the campus average. All participants
will receive a thank-you gift - a $10 Terrapin Express card, an "I Love
Maryland So I Vote" poster, and a TerpsVote t-shirt!

The focus group sessions will take place on Zoom. The sessions are scheduled
for:
Friday, April 8 - 11:00am - 12:00pm and 3:00pm -4:00pm

To get a sense of what we will be asking in the focus group, here are a few
sample questions:
What social issues are important to you and students in your major/college?
How do you think college students typically feel about the responsibility of
voting?
