Subject: Sigma Xi Student Research Showcase - virtual event

Description:
Students are invited to submit an abstract for Sigma Xi's Student Research
Showcase, a unique online competition where high school, undergraduate, and
graduate students can develop effective and essential science communication
skills. Participants create a website that contains three components:
--An abstract (250 words maximum)
--A short video that introduces the project to a broad audience
--A slideshow describing research details
During the evaluation period, participants will engage in online
conversations with judges through their website. Prizes of up to $1,000 will
be awarded!
Throughout the virtual research competition, we will be offering training
sessions and professional development workshops. Help your students take
their science communication skills to the next level.
The abstract submission deadline is March 31, 2022.
