Graduate or Soon-to-be graduate!   Get your patient care as a Patient Chronic
Care Manager & Medical Office Manager in preparation for PA school CASPA
applications.

You will be trained as the practice’s chief healthcare administrator. Your
management duties include running a small house calls practice in Montgomery
County, MD.  Be a part of the solution and something bigger while taking care
of our elderly in the community. Community and public health, healthcare
business administration opportunity would most benefit from this.

Manage patient chronic conditions in a safe and cheerful home office setting.
No prior experience is necessary!  Training will be provided by the current
gap-year intern, who is leaving position for her PA school experience. This
position is for the ambitious, compassionate and talented PRE-PA/gap year
student who is needing paid patient-contact hours for preparation to PA
school. Part-time, potentially leading to full-time, employee position.

REQUIRES:

MA/CNA/EMT licensed.
Highly motivated, detailed oriented and organized candidate with particular
skills excelling in precise written documentation and verbal communication.
Outstanding phone skills are a must while making and taking calls with
patients and other healthcare professionals
Regular availability to also go on weekly visits with a PA to provide patient
care taking vitals, scribing, ordering studies and writing up progress notes.
Medicine at Home is a PA owned private house calls practice - provides direct
primary care for the older adult at home and assisted living.   The candidate
will have an up-close exposure to a wide variety of medical conditions and
disease states along with pharmacological and non-pharmacological treatments
and plans of care for these disease states. PA Gardella is a former
high-school teacher who has a passion for mentoring and preparing Pre-PA
students for the rigors of PA school!

You set your regular weekly schedule. Approximately $15/hour
probation/training period and then $20/hr - with bonuses/perks for a 16-24
hours/wk.
