Subject: CARE in Conversation: UMD & Community Activism

Description:
The CARE office will be hosting CARE in Conversation on Tuesday, March 9th
12:30-2:00pm via zoom. This month's topic is UMD & Community Activism. We are
partnering with Black Terps Matter and Preventing Sexual Assault for a
dialogue centered on engaging and mobilizing the Maryland community in
collective growth and change. We will be discussing the dynamics of student
activism on UMD’s campus, and welcome student activists to share their
experiences! It is a drop-in event and folks can feel free to eat lunch as we
chat.
