Subject: Pitch Dingman Competition 2021 Fearless Ideas Track
Description:
Pitch Dingman Competition 2021
Fearless Ideas Track
The Dingman Center for Entrepreneurship has added a new track this year to
its signature annual pitch competition, welcoming undergraduate and graduate
students who have not yet developed a venture. This Fearless Ideas track
empowers students to develop a venture idea that tackles systemic racism in
the following fields:
Racism + Mental Health
Racism + Business
Racism + Tech
Competitors must ask themselves, “What kind of venture could I create that
would improve or solve one of these problems?”
To apply, students are asked to submit a slide deck and a video pitch
submission. The winning pre-recorded pitch video will be played at Pitch
Dingman Competition Finals on May 4th and this student will receive $5,000 as
well as guaranteed admission to the Dingman Center’s Terp Startup
Accelerator summer program, which comes with an additional $5,000 stipend.
Applications are open through 11:59 p.m. EST April 5. For more information
and to apply, please visit the Fearless Ideas Track website.
