Subject: Apply to be a One for the World Student Ambassador -- Due Friday
10/7 at 11:59pm!

Description:
Do you want to help end Global Poverty? Join One for the World (OFTW)! OFTW
is a non-profit organization that uses a rigorous, data-driven approach to
build a portfolio of the most effective charities in the world. OFTW then
encourages students to pledge to donate 1% of their post-grad income to these
selected charities in order to help end extreme poverty.

As a Student Ambassador, you will be part of the fifth-ever cohort to join
the UMD OFTW chapter and have a direct impact on the creation of our
community. It is a fantastic opportunity to get involved with an organization
that is truly making a difference while gaining valuable communication,
leadership, and sales experience and benefiting from the extensive
professional network of OFTW chapters.

Student Ambassador Responsibilities:
* Recruit students on campus to take the 1% pledge
* Talk and raise awareness to friends, classmates, etc. about OFTW and
effective altruism
* Attend OFTW events and training

Apply at ter.ps/oftwf22SA
