Are you interested in volunteering with underserved communities, and
interested in learning more about injustice in our carceral system? The Petey
Green Program might be right for you! Petey Green volunteers tutor
incarcerated and formerly incarcerated people in local prisons, and are now
introducing our organization at UMD.

Discover opportunities for tutoring in prisons by attending our event on
Thursday, October 20th, 4 PM in 2115 Tawes Hall. You can learn what UMD
students and faculty are doing to promote education in carceral spaces, how
you can get involved in UMD's educational justice community, and talk to
instructors, tutors, and facilitators, all while enjoying delicious food!
This is a wonderful opportunity to get involved with underserved communities
and see if you are interested in joining our organization, the Petey Green
Program at UMD!
