Subject: Tetracore Software Engineering Position
Description:
Tetracore designs, manufactures and supports a portable real-time
thermocycler. This role will involve working with an interdisciplinary team
of Mechanical Engineers, Electrical Engineers, Software Engineers, and
Biologists in instrument troubleshooting, customer support, and automation.
This role is best for someone with a passion for finding and troubleshooting
bugs and strong attention to detail. The individual will be the first point
of contact for potential issues reported by customers, quality control
testing personnel, and the assembly team. Perform initial technical
investigation of reported issues and notify the relevant team members. Travel
domestically and internationally to support customers may be required
(current travel to customer sites is on hold due to COVID-19). The individual
will also identify and implement opportunities to simplify and automate steps
in instrument testing. The Software Engineer will assist the team in the
planning, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of
software solutions in support of instrument troubleshooting and automation.
Functions are to be completed in a timely manner with acceptable quality.
