Subject: SKy campus Meditation workshop with Poonam Tandon

Description:
Sky at UMD student club is organizing the Online SKY Campus Happiness
workshop(July  16-18th). Similar to the most popular course at Yale the
Science of Well-Being and courses like  Stanford Wellness 132: breathwork for
wellbeing and UC Berkeley Decal 5462

SKY campus Happiness workshop is a unique practical hands-on workshop on
happiness and wellbeing.

Participants will learn breathwork-based techniques to practice at home to
decrease stress and increase focus. The cornerstone of the workshop is the
evidence-based SKY (Sudarshan Kriya Yoga) technique that uses the breath to
calm the mind, leading to a deep experience of meditation.

Recent research studies evaluated by Yale University show that SKY Breath
Meditation was the most powerful and beneficial program for student mental
health and well-being. Students reported improvements in six areas of
well-being: depression, stress, mental health, mindfulness, positive affect,
