Description:
Youth in Dentistry at UMD strives to promote oral health literacy by sharing
educational content about dentistry via social media. Each month we select a
topic in dentistry to create content about and at the end of each month we
invite a guest speaker with the background & experience to help us further
our knowledge on our chosen topic!

Our monthly topic is "The Impact of Oral Health on Overall Health" and our
guest speaker will be Dr. Alenna Monet DDS!

Dr. Monet is a general dentist and former graduate of UMCP and UMSOD. She
will be discussing the impacts of oral health on overall health and the role
that general dentists play in systemic health. Q&A to follow!
