Subject: Urgent replacement TA needed for BSCI171 for this semester, Fall
2022.

Description:
The Biological Sciences Program must hire a replacement TA to teach one lab
section of BSCI171.  Duties must begin immediately and run through the end of
the semester. Current undergraduates or recent graduates are encouraged to
apply. The stipend for this position is $1200.00 for current undergraduates
or $1945.00 for someone with a Bachelor’s degree.  Applications are due as
soon as possible but no later than Friday October 7.  Duties include
preparing for and teaching one lab section a week that meets Fridays at 8am
– 11am,  preparing for and attending prep meeting each week from 2pm to
5pm, and grading student lab work. Duties require approximately 10 hours a
week.  Requirements are
•	an overall UMD GPA of 3.0 or higher,
•	grades of B or higher in BSCI170 and 171,
•	and two additional BSCI  courses at the 200 level or higher.
