We are happy to share with you the details of CAPE Forum 2021. https://www.escape31.org/cape-forum-2021/

The CAPE Forum 2021 aims to attract PhD students from Europe and beyond with the purpose of creating a platform to review the recent progress, exchange ideas, increase the interaction between academia and industry and enhance the collaboration among the researchers.

CAPE Forum 2021 will be conducted as a virtual event on June 10-11, 2021 just after ESCAPE-31.

The CAPE Forum 2021 has the following program:

Day 1 (June 10, 2021):

Pillar 1: Data Analytics and Machine Learning (Metin Türkay and Fengqi You)

Pillar 2: Modeling and Optimization (Lorenz T. Biegler and Ignacio E. Grossmann)

Day 2 (June 11, 2021):

Pillar 3: Integrated Product and Process Design (Claire Adjiman and Rafiqul Gani)

Pillar 4: Education and Training (Fernando Martins and Gregoire Leonard and Seyed Soheil Mansouri, Jointly organized by EURECHA)

Each pillar has 2 mentor faculty members. The structure of each pillar will be:
1 hr - presentation by by mentor 1 
1 hr - presentation by by mentor 2
1 hr - presentation by PhD students (4-5 presentations)
1 hr - general discussion on challenges and opportunities
