We greatly appreciate PSE community's interest in the 2017 Smith School
Distinguished Junior Researchers Seminar program. We are pleased to announce
this year's invited speakers and the seminar schedule:

• November 21, 12-1pm: Davood Pourkargar (University of Minnesota)
• November 28, 12-1pm: Kristen Severson (MIT)

Both seminars will take place in Lecture Room 218 of Olin Hall at Cornell
University (161 Ho Plaza, Ithaca, New York, 14853). These seminars are open

We also plan to record this year's seminar presentations and make them
available in YouTube, and/or share them through Zoom, upon permissions from
the invited seminar speakers.

We expect to continue this program next year with a similar schedule. Your
