INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON

ADVANCES IN GLOBAL OPTIMIZATION: Methods and Applications

Royal Myconian Imperial Hotel
MYCONOS, GREECE
JUNE 13-17, 2007

http://www.ise.ufl.edu/cao/ago2007/

The Fifth International Conference on Advances in Global Optimization:
Methods and Applications will take place during June 13-17, 2007 in
Myconos, Greece. The four previous conferences on “Recent Advances in
Global Optimization", “State-of-the-Art in Global Optimization",
“Optimization in Computational Chemistry and Molecular Biology: Local
and Global Approaches", and “Frontiers In Global Optimization” took
place at Princeton University in 1991, 1995, 1999, and in Santorini,
Greece in 2003, respectively.

Conference Goals

Bring together the most active researchers in theory, algorithms and
applications of global optimization. Exchange ideas across discipline
boundaries of applied mathematics, computer science, engineering,
computational biology and chemistry, molecular biology, medicine, and
bioinformatics.

Main Conference Themes

Conference topics include advances in:
• Deterministic methods for global optimization
• Stochastic methods for global optimization
• Distributed computing methods in global optimization
• Applications of global optimization in all branches of applied science
and engineering, computer science, computational biology and chemistry,
structural biology, medicine, and bioinformatics
