A postdoctoral research position is available at the School of Chemical 
& Biomolecular Engineering, Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia 
Tech), in Atlanta, USA. The successful candidate will work on modeling, 
simulation, and optimization of simulated moving bed chromatography 
processes. This project is sponsored by a major petrochemical company. 
Frequent written and oral communications with the sponsor as well as our 
experimental team will be required.

Eligibility:
A recent Ph.D. degree in chemical engineering, process engineering, or 
related field; Experience in chromatography or adsorption process 
modeling, partial differential equation models, or dynamic optimization; 
Experimental experience is desirable but not requisite.

Position starting date:
January 2014, or as soon as possible after this date.
